Van Dough Focaccia

Van Dough Focaccia

This has to be the most beautiful loaf of bread I have ever seen. It is called Van Dough Focaccia. The recipe and creations are by Teri Culletto, the Vineyard Baker, located in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts. Her website, which has the tagline “Time to get breaducated… “, has tutorials for several types of bread and cookies. You will be inspired by her “bread art for the eyes and the eating.”

Yeast of Eden, the bakery in the Winnie Archer Bread Shop Mysteries is all about bread, bread, bread. The next book in the series will be Murder Gone a-rye, which will be released in 2021, and will feature the Van Dough Focaccia. Be sure to check out Melissa Bourbon’s website for this recipe as well as many others that follow the themes of her novels.

Barbara, did you see The Vineyard Baker’s Quilted Foccacia Buns? They are gorgeous. It would be fun to decorate some bread together at PALS once Covid is over.
